Locally Grown Flowers & Bouquets
Why choose local?
Did you know that 80% of the cut flowers sold in the USA are imported from other countries? This means that your flowers have traveled thousands of miles to reach your table, often cut weeks before you even buy them, and are typically drenched in chemicals to help them survive the journey. Similar to the growth of the local food movement, conscious consumers are catching on and choosing local and American Grown flowers.
Local flowers are a great value because of how fresh and long lasting they are, typically lasting over a week in the vase when properly cared for. Besides guaranteed freshness, our flowers are never treated with chemicals and so they are safe for all members of your family. Plus, you are supporting a a small family farm, which we sincerely appreciate!
What do you grow?
We focus on seasonal offerings and so the question “what do you grow?” has answers that will vary!
We will have, among many other lovely things: Tulips and Daffodils to welcome Spring; Anemone, Ranunculus, the sweetest smelling Stock to carry us into Summer; the Summer bounty will be full of Zinnias, Sunflowers, Snapdragons, and Cosmos; and Fall will see Lisianthus, Strawflowers, and all the beautiful Dahlias.
